French Macaron









 


In this week video, I’m going to share with you how to make this ultimate macaron sandwich cookie. This is perfect for birthday, parties or any occasion. This tutorial is my first time, and you can confidently make your own macarons anytime, anywhere, too. Enjoy!




 Ingredients Cook's Notes For 30 MACARONS:
  1. 1 ¾ cups powdered sugar (210 grams confectioners' sugar
  2. 1 cup almond flour (100 grams, finely ground)
  3. 1 teaspoon salt, divided into 2
  4. 3 egg whites, at room temperature (100 grams egg whites)
  5. ¼ cup granulated sugar (50 grams white sugar)
  6. ½ teaspoon vanilla extract/ vanilla sugar
  7. 2 drops of food coloring

VANILLA BUTTERCREAM
  1.  1 cup unsalted butter (210 grams), 2 sticks, at room temperature
  2. 5 cups powdered sugar (540 grams)
  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract/ vanilla sugar
